student council

The Trafalgar Middle School council consists of students elected or appointed to represent their peers. They work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and fellow students to address various issues within the school community. The council aims to foster a positive school environment, promote student involvement, and voice the concerns and ideas of the student body. The responsibilities of a middle school council may include organizing school events such as dances, fundraisers, spirit weeks, and community service projects. They also liaise between students and school faculty, advocating for changes or improvements to school policies or facilities. Council members often develop leadership skills, teamwork, and communication abilities while learning about the democratic process through elections and decision-making within the group. Serving on the council can provide valuable experiences that help students develop a sense of responsibility, civic engagement, and a deeper connection to their school community.
