Throughout the school year, the Art Club engages in a range of activities and projects, including but not limited to painting sessions, sketching and drawing workshops, collaborative mural projects, crafts using various materials, and art appreciation discussions. Mrs. Bizjak sponsors this club and meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 4 to 5 pm.

book battle

Join our enthusiastic team of students as they embark on an exciting literary journey through the Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) program! Each student on the team is actively engaged in reading the SSYRA book selections and is tasked with creating thought-provoking questions based on their individual reading experiences.

In May, our dedicated team will journey to the District, ready to showcase their literary knowledge and teamwork. The competition will involve answering challenging questions crafted by the students themselves, putting their comprehension and critical thinking skills to the test. For more information, please contact Mrs. Mazon.

student council

The Trafalgar Middle School council consists of students elected or appointed to represent their peers. They work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and fellow students to address various issues within the school community. The council aims to foster a positive school environment, promote student involvement, and voice the concerns and ideas of the student body. The responsibilities of a middle school council may include organizing school events such as dances, fundraisers, spirit weeks, and community service projects. They also liaise between students and school faculty, advocating for changes or improvements to school policies or facilities. Council members often develop leadership skills, teamwork, and communication abilities while learning about the democratic process through elections and decision-making within the group. Serving on the council can provide valuable experiences that help students develop a sense of responsibility, civic engagement, and a deeper connection to their school community. Mrs. Shual and Mrs Perez sponsor this club and meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.
