Dr. Michael Galbreath - Principal


Dr. Michael Galbreath is the Principal of Trafalgar Middle School.  He is a graduate of the University of Florida and has a Bachelor’s Degree in History, a Master’s in Education, an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.  Dr. Galbreath is a Florida native and has worked at the middle school level for the past twenty-five years as a Teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Principal.  Dr. Galbreath’s wife, Amy, also works for the School District of Lee County as a High School Gifted Resource Teacher.  His oldest daughter Megan is a Senior at Harvard University where she is a diver on the Women’s Swimming and Diving Team.  His youngest daughter Hannah is a Freshman at Washington and Lee University and is a setter on the Women’s Volleyball Team.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching his two daughters compete in sports, boating, fishing, and Gator Football.

 

Kevin Beckman

Kevin Beckman - Assistant Principal


 

Kevin Beckman is an Assistant Principal of Trafalgar Middle School. He is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a graduate from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Mr. Beckman attended middle and high school in Lee County and has been a Lee County resident since 1987. Mr. Beckman has worked at the middle school level for the past 20 years as an Educator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Mr. Beckman’s wife, Dawn, also works for The School District of Lee County as an Assistant Principal of Gulf Elementary School. His daughters, Emma and Gracie, both attend school in Lee County and both compete in competitive gymnastics. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching his daughters compete in gymnastics, traveling, snow skiing, biking, longboarding, and hiking.

Mrs Borel

Darcia Borel - Assistant Principal


Darcia Borel is an Assistant Principal of Trafalgar Middle School.  She is a graduate of The University of Alabama, with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Environmental Sciences, with a focus on Child Life.  Mrs. Borel also has two degrees from Nova Southeastern University, a Masters in Elementary Education, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.   Mrs. Borel has been an educator for 18 years, beginning her career in Broward County.  After relocating to Lee County, she continued to work as a Kindergarten Teacher, before becoming a Reading Specialist, Curriculum Specialist and then an administrator.  Mrs. Borel has been a member of the Trafalgar Middle School family since 2016.  Mrs. Borel is a native of Birmingham, Alabama.  She is married and her husband is a local attorney.  She has two children, both of whom attend elementary school in the Lee County School District.  In her free time, she enjoys attending her son’s soccer games, traveling outside the state of Florida with her family or spending a long weekend at Walt Disney World!  Mrs. Borel is not only a proud Lee County School District employee, but a proud Lee County School District parent.
